Everyone loves a good chocolate chip cookie (especially when they are warm and gooey straight out of the oven - yum). I have made many different recipes for them over the years and this is my favourite - they are seriously amazing. Ingredients:
250g butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 1/3 cups of flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups chocolate block, chopped (you can use any kind (or a mix) that you like, dark is my favourite and caramello works well too)
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius, line 2 trays with baking paper.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in condensed milk and beat again.
Mix in the vanilla essence and then fold in the flour, baking powder and chocolate until well combined.
Roll tablespoonfuls of the dough into balls with your hands, place them on the prepared baking trays and flatten with a fork.
